Jeremy was originally born in the United States of America in 1987. At a young age, Jeremy relocated to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Jeremy tells the story of how his beloved father had to sacrifice his American dream to pursue other business interests elsewhere
Jeremy recalls that even at an early age he appreciated good music in all shapes and forms.
By listening to Jeremys music, you can certainly identify bits and pieces from artists such as Nina Simone, which he recalls was an artist that received frequent playing time growing up as an adolescent. When asked about other musical influences, Jeremy directly replys that his mothers Indian heritage, with music that posses very distinct melodies and rhythm, also have shaped and moulded him to the artist he his today.
After being a citizen of the world for about a decade, Jeremy began his own exploration into the world of music and what it had to offer. He tells us that at the age of 10, he mostly listened to Hip Hop. Artist featured in young Jeremys CD case were prominent musicians such as NAS, Guru, Common, Big L, Notorious BIG, Wu Tang Clan, Mobb Deep and Non Phixion. In contrast to Hip Hop with its dirty bass, he also appreciated movie soundtracks. American composer and conducter, John Williams, is mentioned as a particular standout.
Up until the age of 17, Jeremy stood firmly side by side with his Hip Hop music and sountrack composers. Suddenly, he decided to widen his horizon. Due the type of commerical dancemusic played on the radio, Jeremy swore to never listen to anything like that because it lacked what he found in Hip Hop; soul.
Then one day two gentlemen by the names of Benny Benassi and Eric Prydz changed all this with their music and sparked a drastic change in the life of the now 18 year old Jeremy. He slowly started to make the transition to dance music in general and house music in particular. He paints a vivid picture of how he found the music to be energetic and rythmic without any parity to anything he had ever heard before.
As time progressed and Jeremy started feeling more and more comfortable with his new genre of choice, he started exploring producers that had their own sound and continously released unprecedented tunes that distinguished themselves from one another dramatically yet without losing out any quality. He names Dubfire, Eric Prydz, Sebastien Leger, John Dahlbäck, Daft Punk, Laidback Luke and Lifelike as inspiring people that motivated him enough to propell him on his own path to becoming a music producer. He quickly points out that he began his journey as a producer at a fairly late stage in his life. After listening to his work, you know that what he lacks in experience, he certainly makes up in passion and flare. His music stretches from very energetic melodic progressive to heavy beat oriented techno and you can look forward to seeing him on the digital music shelves and music festivals for many years to come.
